Meggin McIntosh, Ph.D. and Larry Kramer, V.N.P. founded Pumpernickel Publishing in 2006.  At first, only books for teachers were published, but because Meggin's work through Emphasis on Excellence, Inc. spans wide ranges of professionals from higher education, business, government agencies, and school districts, the scope has been broadened.
